About
I am a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zurich supervised by João Sacramento and Angelika Steger. Curious about our ability to adapt, abstract and generalise, I study how neural networks learn to learn. In case you want to get a sense of what that entails, have a look at my publications.
I have a BSc in Electrical Engineering and a BSc in Psychology - both from RWTH Aachen University - as well as a MSc in Neural Systems & Computation from ETH Zurich & University of Zurich. For my Master’s thesis, I was an academic visitor at Cambridge University where I worked with Máté Lengyel. Recently, I did a six month research internship in the Foundational Research Team at Google DeepMind in Montréal with Owen He.
