I am a PhD student at the Institute of Neuroinformatics at ETH Zurich & University of Zurich. I am supervised by João Sacramento and hosted in the group of Benjamin Grewe. Curious about our ability to make sense of a world riddled with uncertainty, I am studying probabilistic learning in deep cortical networks using tools from machine learning.

I have a BSc in Psychology and a BSc in Electrical Engineering - both from RWTH Aachen University - as well as a MSc in Neural Systems & Computation from ETH Zurich & University of Zurich.

Before starting my PhD, I worked with Máté Lengyel at Cambridge University on Bayesian normative models for navigation in mice and with Angelika Steger at ETH Zurich on stochastic synapses for continual learning.
